About this role
Olsson seeks a licensed Mechanical Engineer to design and evaluate healthcare facility systems across multiple locations. You'll manage engineering duties from concept through construction for small to large projects, collaborate with teams, and mentor junior staff while maintaining project documentation and client communication.
What you'll do
- Perform engineering evaluations, design, and construction planning for healthcare projects of varying scales
- Conduct process design calculations, analyze reports, and prepare cost estimates for project feasibility assessment
- Prepare project documents and monitor scope, schedule, and budget alignment
- Coordinate design aspects using standard techniques and propose adaptations when needed
- Communicate project progress to managers and clients while maintaining accurate records in project management systems
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members
