About this role
Olsson seeks a Process Engineer to design and optimize industrial processes for agricultural, ethanol, food and beverage, and manufacturing clients. You'll develop process documentation, perform engineering calculations, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support facility optimization and startup activities.
What you'll do
- Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, design narratives, and equipment specifications
- Perform mass/energy balances, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing
- Design pumping, piping, heat transfer, utility, chemical feed, and material handling systems
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and structural engineers on integrated solutions
- Conduct process hazard reviews, safety evaluations, and risk assessments
- Support field investigations, startup activities, commissioning, and client relationship management
