About this role

Olsson seeks an experienced Project Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and systems coordination for large commercial, healthcare, laboratory, educational, and data center projects across Iowa and Nebraska. You'll create construction documents, perform calculations, conduct quality assurance, mentor team members, and collaborate with other engineering disciplines using AutoCAD and Revit.

What you'll do

  • Lead electrical design and coordinate electrical systems using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Create construction documents and detailed specifications for projects
  • Execute quality assurance and quality control plans
  • Perform electrical calculations including power distribution, lighting, and arc flash studies
  • Mentor and train junior team members
  • Meet with clients to present and discuss conceptual and final designs
