About this role

Olsson seeks a Traffic Engineer to design and analyze transportation infrastructure projects, including traffic signals, roundabouts, and intelligent transportation systems. You'll conduct traffic studies, develop safety recommendations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance mobility and roadway safety across diverse projects.

What you'll do

  • Perform traffic studies and analyze traffic data to evaluate safety and operational performance
  • Design traffic signals, roundabouts, pavement markings, signing, and temporary traffic control
  • Prepare design plans and technical drawings using CAD software
  • Develop recommendations for traffic operations and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams on project delivery
  • Apply engineering judgment to complex transportation projects including citywide safety studies

  • Synchro (preferred)
  • OSP Fiber experience (preferred)
