About this role

OpenAI seeks a backend engineer with product instincts to build AI-powered applications that accelerate go-to-market initiatives. You'll collaborate with sales and operations teams to rapidly prototype and deploy solutions using OpenAI's API, moving quickly from concept to production while staying close to end users.

What you'll do

  • Develop high-impact applications that support Sales, Technical Success, and Revenue Operations workflows
  • Own the full product lifecycle from prototyping through maintenance and iteration
  • Partner directly with go-to-market teams to understand needs and ship novel solutions
  • Apply OpenAI models creatively to solve real-world customer and internal workflow challenges
  • Translate field learnings into feedback for Applied and Research product teams
