About this role

Praxent seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with financial services clients and build production-grade AI systems that integrate with their regulated environments. You'll own complete workstreams from problem definition through compliant deployment, working alongside senior engineers and client teams to deliver agentic AI that operates reliably after handoff.

What you'll do

  • Build and ship production AI systems (agentic and LLM-backed) that meet client functional and regulatory requirements
  • Own end-to-end workstreams from understanding client problems through documented, delivered solutions
  • Integrate AI with legacy systems, governed data, and client infrastructure rather than greenfield environments
  • Create evals, guardrails, and runbooks that enable client teams to operate systems independently post-handoff
  • Collaborate directly with client engineers and Praxent senior teams to navigate compliance and risk reviews
  • Communicate technical trade-offs clearly and maintain reliable follow-through on commitments
