About this role
OpenAI seeks an IT Solutions Engineer to own enterprise SaaS and identity platform operations, ensuring compliance, security, and reliable system changes across the organization. This role bridges Security, Engineering, and IT teams to implement governance controls, automate workflows, and maintain audit-ready access management at scale.
What you'll do
- Administer enterprise SaaS and identity platforms, managing configuration integrity, access governance, and compliance requirements
- Own user onboarding, access modifications, and offboarding workflows aligned to standardized entitlement models
- Design and operationalize structured rollout patterns for enterprise system changes with validation and rollback capabilities
- Build automated operational workflows using APIs, infrastructure-as-code, and scripting to replace manual administrative tasks
- Execute and maintain integrations across identity providers, SaaS platforms, and ITSM systems for consistent behavior
- Partner cross-functionally with Security and IT Support to enforce least-privilege access and convert operational friction into system improvements
