About this role
Join Palantir as a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer intern to build and operate the infrastructure powering their data platforms in production environments. You'll work directly with experienced engineers on real deployments, automation projects, and distributed systems challenges while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-scale infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Deploy and operate Palantir software across production environments for government clients
- Automate manual processes and runbooks to improve operational efficiency
- Debug and troubleshoot distributed systems issues in live environments
- Design and implement infrastructure improvements and scaling solutions
- Collaborate with full-time FDIEs on infrastructure maintenance and optimization
- Contribute to novel solutions for complex infrastructure challenges
