About this role
Snowflake is hiring AI/ML Software Engineer Interns for Spring 2027 to work on production-grade AI systems, LLM integrations, and agentic workflows within their cloud data platform. You'll gain hands-on experience building scalable ML infrastructure, evaluation frameworks, and AI-powered features while collaborating with world-class engineers on real customer-facing products.
What you'll do
- Develop and deploy production-grade AI systems including agents, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations
- Build infrastructure for ML platforms, feature stores, and optimized runtimes for structured and unstructured data
- Create evaluation loops to measure groundedness, reliability, and safety of AI-powered features
- Work on agentic workflows including SQL generation, testing, and complex workflow management
- Contribute to Cortex AI products including search, analyst interfaces, and custom agents
- Optimize high-performance LLM systems for improved throughput and hardware efficiency
