About this role
Palantir seeks a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to work directly with US government customers on high-impact, data-driven projects. You'll own end-to-end technical solutions for complex operational challenges, combining software development, data analysis, and customer collaboration in small, autonomous teams.
What you'll do
- Design and implement custom software solutions to address customer operational challenges
- Own end-to-end project execution from problem definition through deployment
- Work on-site with customers to understand requirements and iterate on solutions
- Architect systems handling massive-scale data and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and strategists
- Make independent technical decisions with minimal supervision
