Full Stack Software Engineer I
About this role
Parallel Systems is hiring a Software Engineer I to build operator and customer-facing software for autonomous battery-electric rail vehicles. You'll work full-stack with TypeScript, React, and Rust, owning features end-to-end from understanding user needs through deployment and iteration.
What you'll do
- Build and improve operator and customer product platforms using TypeScript, React, and Rust
- Ship features in the Electron-based operator application
- Collaborate with product and vehicle/systems engineers to translate operational requirements into reliable interfaces
- Own features end-to-end: understand user needs, implement, test, document, and monitor after deployment
- Contribute to full-stack product expansion including data models, APIs, and enterprise software reliability
- Independently identify and fix problems across the codebase
