About this role
An Industrial Engineer I will optimize manufacturing processes by analyzing production workflows, conducting time studies, and implementing lean improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify waste reduction opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Review production schedules, specifications, and process flows to understand manufacturing methods and identify inefficiencies
- Conduct time studies and value stream analysis to distinguish value-added from non-value-added activities
- Work with manufacturing and quality teams to propose equipment and process improvements
- Support Lean Manufacturing program rollout, including 6S, Standard Work, and Value Stream Mapping initiatives
- Evaluate workspace and equipment layouts for optimization opportunities
- Present improvement findings and ensure compliance with quality management systems and safety standards
