About this role
Percepta is seeking a Founding Applied AI Engineer to build and shape their data team from the ground up. This unique role combines data engineering, data science, and ML engineering responsibilities, focusing on transforming messy enterprise data into AI-ready assets and building tooling to streamline the process. You'll work directly with customers to drive AI transformation, owning the full lifecycle of models and contributing to the development of Percepta’s data strategy.
What you'll do
- Build data pipelines for streaming and batch sources.
- Integrate LLMs into production pipelines for structured data extraction.
- Own the full lifecycle of ML models, from feature engineering to monitoring.
- Develop internal tooling to accelerate data workflows across customers.
- Collaborate directly with customer operators and engineering teams.
- Formulate and communicate technical opinions on data infrastructure.
