About this role

Peregrine is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the platform team, taking ownership of high-impact features across their AI-driven public safety data platform. You'll work on optimizing mission-critical infrastructure, architecting scalable systems, and collaborating closely with users to deliver industry-leading capabilities.

What you'll do

  • Own large portions of the application end-to-end, from design through deployment and iteration
  • Optimize platform subsystems for significant performance gains (e.g., Elasticsearch cluster re-architecture)
  • Work on strategic, platform-spanning initiatives that deliver new capabilities and reliability
  • Collaborate with deployment teams and users to understand use cases and iterate on solutions
  • Write robust, well-tested code that gets deployed to production frequently
  • Drive innovation across full-stack components in a rapidly evolving tech environment
