Per Scholas seeks a Critical Infrastructure Learning Specialist to support instructors in delivering hands-on training for aspiring data center technicians. The role combines technical expertise in electrical, cooling, and power systems with adult education delivery, emphasizing safety, troubleshooting skills, and professional accountability in mission-critical environments.
What you'll do
- Assist lead instructor in delivering structured classroom and lab-based training on electrical distribution, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and building management systems
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring, monitor individual student progress daily, and enforce classroom and safety standards
- Facilitate hands-on lab exercises involving electrical panels and mechanical systems while ensuring OSHA and NFPA compliance
- Evaluate student troubleshooting performance using scenario-based diagnostics and performance checklists
- Maintain student records in Salesforce/LMS including grades, attendance, certifications, and performance notes
- Contribute to curriculum improvement by providing feedback on lab effectiveness, learner challenges, and content clarity
