Security Engineer (SIEM / EL3 Logging)
About this role
We're seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our SIEM and enterprise logging infrastructure. You'll ensure robust log collection, analysis, and threat detection across our security operations center.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy SIEM solutions for centralized log aggregation and security monitoring
- Manage EL3 logging platforms and optimize data ingestion pipelines
- Develop detection rules and alerts for threat identification and response
- Maintain and troubleshoot logging infrastructure for high availability
- Collaborate with security teams to improve incident detection capabilities
- Document logging architecture and security procedures

- SIEM platform expertise (Splunk, ELK, ArcSight, or similar)
- Log aggregation and parsing experience
- Security event analysis and correlation
- Query languages (SPL, KQL, or equivalent)
- Network security fundamentals
- Linux/Unix administration
