About this role
Point72 seeks an experienced IT Operations Engineer to lead end-user technology services, managing support for desktops, mobile devices, collaboration tools, and trading platforms. The role combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with automation, project management, and 24/7 on-call support in a fast-paced investment management environment.
What you'll do
- Deliver and shape end-user technology support services across PCs, laptops, mobile devices, video conferencing, and collaboration tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues with focus on client outcomes
- Develop automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell, Splunk, and similar tools to reduce resolution times
- Create training materials and documentation to improve technology adoption and self-sufficiency
- Manage technology projects from planning through delivery, including resource coordination and status reporting
- Own incident lifecycle management, perform root cause analyses, and coordinate vendor escalations and on-site support
