About this role
Point72 seeks an experienced Quant Library Developer to design and evolve a Python-based analytics platform for macro trading, risk, and pricing. You'll build APIs and user interfaces that connect traders, quantitative researchers, and risk teams to production analytics, while collaborating with C++ engineers and quantitative teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain a Python-based analytics platform supporting macro business workflows across pricing, calibration, curve construction, and risk analytics
- Build and expose Python APIs and service interfaces connecting users to production analytics capabilities, including gRPC and Protocol Buffers integration
- Create and support business-critical spreadsheet interfaces and Excel integrations for traders, quantitative researchers, and risk users
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to translate requirements into platform capabilities and improve user interaction with analytics
- Optimize performance and reliability of data-intensive Python systems through profiling, caching, and production troubleshooting
- Contribute to releases, production support, and provide technical mentorship to junior developers
