Preql is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with finance teams at enterprise clients. You'll build semantic models, integrate data sources, and bridge the gap between customer needs and product development. This role requires strong data modeling skills, financial acumen, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Own business outcomes for a portfolio of enterprise accounts.
- Build semantic models for finance logic (revenue recognition, cost allocation, etc.).
- Integrate data sources across ERPs, planning systems, and warehouses.
- Collaborate with controllers and FP&A leads to translate finance language into data models.
- Identify modeling, data, or product gaps and route them appropriately.
- Create reusable models, templates, and documentation to improve efficiency.
