Associate Security Engineer
About this role
Join Everpure's Global Information Security Office as an Associate Security Engineer to support cloud and infrastructure security operations while building automation and detection capabilities. This early-career role offers hands-on mentorship from senior security engineers with opportunities to develop expertise in security tooling, scripting, and incident response.
What you'll do
- Support security tooling configuration, tuning, and health checks across cloud and endpoint environments
- Write Python scripts and integrations to automate manual security tasks, API data pulls, and tool connectivity
- Query and validate telemetry data in Splunk; assist with security investigations and findings documentation
- Participate in design and configuration reviews to understand security trade-offs and decisions
- Maintain and update security standards, diagrams, and runbooks as systems evolve
- Work alongside Security Operations and senior engineers on real security engineering projects

- Linux and operating systems fundamentals
- TCP/IP networking and core security concepts
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
