Escalation Engineer
About this role
Join Portworx's Technical Services team as an Escalation Engineer to serve as the primary technical authority resolving critical enterprise container storage challenges. You'll bridge front-line support and core engineering, working directly with global customers and product teams on complex Kubernetes and multi-cloud issues while mentoring support staff and driving systemic product improvements.
What you'll do
- Own high-severity technical escalations and conduct deep troubleshooting with initial code reviews in GoLang
- Collaborate with Product Development teams to identify root causes and submit bug fixes for permanent resolutions
- Mentor Technical Services Engineers through paired troubleshooting and knowledge creation
- Publish KB articles and FAQs to reduce mean-time-to-resolution across the support organization
- Analyze telemetry and field trends to identify systemic vulnerabilities
- Participate in on-call rotation to manage critical incidents
