Rad AI is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to enhance its data infrastructure and support its mission to improve healthcare with AI. The role focuses on designing scalable data systems and ensuring data quality while collaborating with researchers and stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Design and implement scalable data architecture using Metaflow and Spark
- Define internal standards for data platform maintenance and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address data needs
- Take ownership of data engineering projects and deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
- Evaluate and recommend data technologies to enhance engineering processes
What they're looking for
- 5+ years in data engineering
- Experience with big data technologies and distributed pipelines
- Proficiency in AWS services, including Amazon EMR
- Working knowledge of Spark for data processing
- Workflow orchestration with Metaflow
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Software engineering background is a plus
