Software Engineering Intern, Backend
About this role
Ramp is seeking backend engineering interns for 12-16 week co-ops to build scalable financial infrastructure systems. You'll own meaningful projects across payments, risk, and data while working alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced fintech environment.
What you'll do
- Build performant, reliable, and scalable backend systems for Ramp's financial products
- Own projects end-to-end from design through production launch
- Solve technical challenges in payments, fraud detection, and financial infrastructure
- Collaborate with product and business teams to translate customer needs into engineering solutions
- Contribute to engineering tools and infrastructure supporting company growth
- Write high-quality code and participate in code reviews
