About this role

Relativity Space seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to drive primary structures assembly for the Terran R rocket. You'll bridge design and production, optimize manufacturing processes, and solve real-time challenges on the shop floor while building systems for scaled rocket production.

What you'll do

  • Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback to structures teams during development and prototype/flight builds
  • Support shop floor assembly operations for primary structure work centers and remove production blockers
  • Champion process improvements across multiple work centers based on build learnings and feedback
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, reliability engineers, and external vendors
  • Create work instructions, specifications, and standardized best practices for high-fidelity processes
  • Drive continuous optimization for scale and incorporate automation and advanced manufacturing technologies
