About this role
Relativity Space seeks a Manufacturing Integration and Test Engineer II to own hardware development for Terran R rocket subassemblies from design through build and delivery. You'll develop manufacturing processes, support first-article builds, coordinate across teams, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Own hardware lifecycle from design release through build, test, and delivery for vehicle subassemblies (fluids, electrical, structural)
- Develop detailed build flows, work instructions, and test procedures to enable repeatable, high-quality execution
- Support first-article builds with focus on manufacturability, repeatability, and scalable processes
- Provide hands-on floor support during build and test, resolve issues in real time, and incorporate technician feedback
- Coordinate across design, supply chain, production, and test teams to ensure readiness and schedule alignment
- Contribute to manufacturing systems, tooling strategies, ERP/MES workflows, and production documentation standards
