About this role
Relativity Space seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer II to oversee vehicle integration hardware from design through build and delivery for the Terran R rocket. You'll develop manufacturing procedures, support first-article builds, resolve real-time issues on the production floor, and drive scalable processes that enable rapid production ramp-up.
What you'll do
- Own hardware lifecycle for engine or vehicle systems from design release through test and delivery, ensuring execution readiness and quality
- Create detailed build flows, work instructions, and test procedures for repeatable, high-quality manufacturing
- Provide hands-on floor support during builds and tests, troubleshooting issues and incorporating technician feedback
- Coordinate across design, supply chain, production, and test teams to ensure part readiness and schedule alignment
- Support first-article builds in a fast-paced environment, optimizing for manufacturability and repeatability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop long-term manufacturing systems and infrastructure
