About this role
Relativity Space seeks a Propulsion Integration & Test Engineer II to own the AeonR engine assembly process from design through production, developing manufacturing workflows and specifications that enable high-rate flight engine production for the Terran R launch vehicle. Working first shift in Long Beach, you'll collaborate across engineering teams to optimize cost, quality, and lead time while directly shaping hardware iterations.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end AeonR integrated assembly process from design release through integration and shipment
- Develop build processes and manufacturing workflows to meet production targets and reduce assembly defects
- Create specifications and procedures that directly impact engine production rate
- Interface with design engineers to provide manufacturing input and influence hardware iterations
- Optimize assembly operations for cost, quality, and schedule performance
- Support transition from development to flight engine production at scale
