What you'll do

  • Design and own docking latch systems, focusing on capture and structural performance.
  • Manage the mating electrical interface design and its reliability.
  • Define and allocate tolerance budgets for mechanical interfaces.
  • Perform structural analysis (modal, quasi-static, vibration).
  • Develop and execute test plans for life, wear, and environmental testing.
  • Engage with suppliers and manage fabrication processes.
