Support Engineer I (NYC, Weekend Shift)
About this role
Replit is hiring a Support Engineer I to help developers resolve technical issues and learn the platform through ticket support, knowledge base maintenance, and cross-team collaboration. This full-time role works a Saturday–Wednesday schedule with in-office requirements on Mondays and Wednesdays at the NYC SoHo office.
What you'll do
- Handle support tickets from Replit users, diagnosing and resolving technical issues while meeting volume and resolution targets
- Collaborate with the Support team to document user feedback and share insights with product and engineering teams
- Build and maintain the Support team's knowledge base and documentation
- Communicate with customers during platform outages and incidents, escalating bugs to engineering for triage
- Work with support tools like Zendesk, Linear, Slack, and the Replit platform itself

- Time management and ticket triage under high volume
- Technical communication with diverse audiences
- IDE, terminal, and developer tools familiarity
- Problem-solving and systematic debugging

- Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude)
