About this role
Rhombus Power seeks an experienced Software Engineer to design and develop backend systems and full-stack solutions for AI-powered defense intelligence platforms. You'll lead technical initiatives, mentor developers, and collaborate across product and UX teams in a startup environment serving national security clients.
What you'll do
- Design and develop backend systems and APIs/GraphQL, ensuring high performance and stability
- Lead code reviews, technical documentation, and establish SDLC standards and processes
- Implement React front-end components and Node.js back-end services with scalable architecture
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver user-friendly web and mobile interfaces
- Establish automated testing and CI/CD practices to improve code quality and team productivity
- Gather user feedback and work with product team to integrate requirements into software solutions
