About this role
Rhombus Power seeks an experienced Software Engineer to design and develop AI-powered backend systems and full-stack components for defense and national security platforms. You'll lead technical initiatives, collaborate across teams, and own end-to-end product delivery in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs/GraphQL with Node.js
- Build React-based front-end components and ensure seamless user experience
- Lead code reviews, technical documentation, and define SDLC standards and processes
- Collaborate with front-end, UX/UI, and product teams to translate requirements into high-performance software
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD practices, and drive quality/productivity improvements
- Gather user feedback and conduct training sessions to refine the AI platform
