About this role
Join Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies as a Systems Test and Integration Engineer to validate software systems across electric vehicle development from prototype to launch. You'll integrate zonal architectures and software domains while collaborating across hardware and software teams to resolve complex system-level issues.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute test plans for software features and improvements across the product stack
- Own end-to-end software bring-up from early prototypes through launch for your domain
- Triage, debug, and perform root-cause analysis on multi-ECU and cross-domain integration issues
- Lead diagnosis of field issues and drive cross-functional resolutions
- Drive automation pipelines for vehicle software validation
- Gather and analyze data from CAN, Ethernet, and cloud-based vehicle telemetry systems
What they're looking for
- Control systems design and validation (automotive or aerospace preferred)
- CAN bus monitoring tools (Vector CANalyzer, PCAN, or equivalent)
- Software calibration tools (Vector CANape or equivalent)
- Python and C/C++ programming
- EV subsystems knowledge (battery management, body controls, vehicle dynamics, thermal)
- Electromechanical systems understanding
- Cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving
- System-level integration and debugging
