About this role

RoboForce is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to develop production-grade software for Physical AI robots operating in demanding outdoor environments. You'll design and integrate core robotics capabilities in C++ and Python, debug real-world system failures, and validate new features directly on deployed hardware across perception, planning, controls, and autonomy.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain production robotics software in C++ and Python for real-world autonomous systems
  • Integrate perception, planning, controls, and teleoperation capabilities to ensure robust on-robot behavior
  • Improve software quality through testing, validation, fault handling, and performance tuning for unstructured environments
  • Investigate and resolve complex failures spanning software, sensors, networking, and hardware interfaces
  • Build internal tools, scripts, and workflows to improve developer velocity and testing efficiency
  • Validate new features through on-robot testing and iterate between development and field deployment
