Rocket Lab is seeking a Ground Systems Engineer I to join their team at Stennis Space Center, MS. This role will focus on designing and implementing control systems for test facilities supporting their Archimedes engine and Neutron launch vehicle.

What you'll do

  • Design test infrastructure and control systems
  • Procure electrical and computer systems equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors for subsystem fabrication
  • Ensure operational safety of electrical ground systems
  • Prepare test procedures and analyze data
  • Collaborate on engine and vehicle testing

What they're looking for

  • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience in aerospace controls or mechatronic systems
  • Familiarity with electrical safety codes
  • Knowledge of LabVIEW software
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Understanding of computer networks
  • Experience with data acquisition systems
  • Strong coordination and collaboration skills
