About this role
Wizards of the Coast seeks a Network Engineer to design and operate enterprise infrastructure spanning datacenters, corporate offices, and AWS cloud. You'll work with modern platforms like Juniper/Mist, Palo Alto Networks, and cloud-native architectures while automating operations and researching emerging technologies.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and operate Juniper/Mist campus and branch network infrastructure
- Engineer and maintain Palo Alto Networks security stack and policy architecture
- Build AWS cloud networking solutions including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity
- Automate network configuration and deployment using Python, APIs, Terraform, and Ansible
- Modernize network observability with streaming telemetry and cloud-native monitoring
- Conduct proof-of-concept exercises and provide design mentorship on emerging technologies like SASE and zero-trust

- Juniper (EX/QFX/SRX, Mist) or Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus) platforms
- BGP, OSPF routing protocols and SD-WAN traffic engineering
- Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama management
- AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, CloudWatch)
- Python scripting and API consumption
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Linux system administration
- AI-driven network operations and Mist/Marvis tools
