About this role

Rocket Lab seeks an RF Phased Array Engineer to develop next-generation RF products and antenna systems for space applications. You'll model antenna performance, support end-to-end product development from design through flight qualification, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on spacecraft and subsystem projects for missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

What you'll do

  • Model and simulate phased array antenna performance for current programs and proposals
  • Support full product lifecycle from architecture design, prototyping, integration, testing, and flight development
  • Develop test plans and procedures for active antenna characterization including EIRP and G/T measurements
  • Collaborate with RF, digital, power, mechanical, thermal, and structural engineers on interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams for troubleshooting and compliance assessment
  • Support engineering reviews (PDRs, CDRs, TRRs) and develop technical documentation including ICDs and user manuals
