About this role

Rocket Lab seeks an RF Phased Array Engineer II to develop and test RF products and phased array systems for spacecraft and launch vehicles. You'll model antenna performance, support full product lifecycles from design through flight, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on advanced space communications hardware.

What you'll do

  • Model and simulate phased array antenna performance for current and proposed programs
  • Support end-to-end product development including architecture, prototyping, integration, testing, and flight qualification
  • Develop test plans and procedures for active antenna testing including EIRP and G/T measurements
  • Assess commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) RF components and support vendor interactions
  • Provide technical support for proposals, requirements analysis, and engineering reviews (PDRs, CDRs, TRRs)
  • Design ground support equipment and production automation; develop technical documentation and user manuals
