About this role

Rogo is seeking a backend engineer to build AI-powered financial infrastructure for enterprise investment firms. You'll architect scalable APIs and distributed systems handling sensitive financial data while working with cutting-edge AI technology.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement REST and gRPC APIs with scalable server-side implementations and asynchronous code
  • Build large-scale infrastructure for crawling, ranking, and retrieval systems
  • Develop secure and compliant code handling sensitive financial data
  • Write maintainable, well-tested code and establish code quality standards
  • Collaborate with team to improve technical velocity and product reliability
  • Own meaningful surface area of the product used by sophisticated financial institutions
