About this role

Rubrik seeks a full-time Software Engineering Intern (January–May 2027) in Palo Alto to work on real projects spanning machine learning, security features, and infrastructure optimization. You'll be a core team member contributing meaningful code while receiving mentorship, professional development, and community engagement throughout the program.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement machine learning models to enhance core product functionalities
  • Optimize internal tools and workflows for engineering teams
  • Develop new security features for Rubrik's data protection products
  • Conduct exploratory research on emerging technologies
  • Contribute production-ready code as a full member of the engineering team
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and mentors on technical projects
