About this role

Scalar is seeking a Founding Solutions Engineer to build out their sales process and empower a growing team. This is a unique opportunity to shape how a company sells a technical product, focusing on delivering impactful demos and proofs of concept using their API-focused platform. You’ll work closely with the CEO, building repeatable processes and setting the technical standard for future hires.

What you'll do

  • Conducting live demos and hands-on proof-of-concepts with prospective clients.
  • Migrating existing documentation solutions (Redocly, Stoplight, etc.) to Scalar.
  • Generating and showcasing SDKs across multiple languages.
  • Setting up secure MCP servers and demonstrating their capabilities.
  • Developing repeatable sales processes and training materials.
  • Providing technical onboarding and support for new customers.
