About this role
Scout Motors seeks a Diagnostic and Commissioning Specialist to develop and integrate electronic vehicle commissioning concepts for electric and range-extended pick-up trucks and SUVs. You'll manage software flashing, ECU configuration, immobilizer systems, and vehicle diagnostics from pre-series through production launch, coordinating cross-functional teams to optimize quality and efficiency.
What you'll do
- Plan and develop electronic vehicle commissioning concepts including software flashing, ECU configuration, immobilizer systems, and diagnostic functions
- Ensure end-to-end functionality of in-vehicle technologies and backend systems integration
- Coordinate commissioning planning, scope, and timelines during pre-series and series production phases
- Monitor and track technical changes for vehicle diagnostics, security, and system architectures throughout development and launch
- Evaluate and enhance commissioning concepts to improve quality, reduce costs, and accelerate production cycle time
- Develop and maintain commissioning documentation using production IT systems
