About this role
Scout Motors seeks a Technical Office Engineering specialist to support the development and manufacturing of electric pickup trucks and rugged SUVs. You'll collaborate on electrical engineering systems, manufacturing optimization, and the transition from prototype to production while reporting to the Engineering Office Manager.
What you'll do
- Assist in developing electrical engineering systems for Scout's electric vehicles
- Support manufacturing and testing of first-generation Scout vehicles in the production environment
- Transfer lessons learned from prototypes to product optimization activities
- Contribute to pre-series and series production line preparation
- Work with engineering teams to refine vehicle design and functionalities
- Document and communicate technical findings to support production readiness
