Automation Engineer
About this role
Automation Engineer at Serval—an AI-native platform company—responsible for automating internal ops workflows using AI agents. You'll identify high-friction manual processes across IT, HR, Finance, and Security, then deploy and optimize Serval's own automation stack to resolve employee requests, manage access provisioning, and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Deploy and tune AI agents to resolve common employee requests without human intervention
- Build workflows for onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, and ticket triage/routing
- Lead identity and access infrastructure projects: SSO consolidation, RBAC, SAML/SCIM provisioning
- Drive SaaS and device governance: rationalize app stack, enforce SSO coverage, eliminate shadow IT
- Maintain knowledge base accuracy and track automation impact metrics (deflection rate, resolution time, satisfaction)
- Partner with Security and Finance teams to systematize access reviews, procurement approvals, and compliance workflows
