About this role

Sezzle seeks a Solutions Engineer to be the technical owner of enterprise merchant relationships, guiding complex payment integration projects from sales through production launch. You'll design custom integration architectures across APIs, SDKs, and e-commerce platforms while acting as the bridge between merchant engineering teams, Sezzle's product organization, and internal stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Own technical discovery and scoping for enterprise merchants; design integration solutions across APIs, SDKs, and platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento
  • Lead product demos, technical presentations, and RFP responses for merchant stakeholders
  • Guide merchant mobile app integrations including SDK implementation, in-app checkout, and native versus webview handoff strategies
  • Validate integrations in sandbox and production, troubleshoot live issues, and communicate technical narratives back to merchants
  • Translate recurring merchant needs into product feedback and advocate for fixes that unlock revenue
  • Build integration documentation, runbooks, and enablement materials to help the team scale

What they're looking for

  • Solutions engineering or sales engineering (4+ years customer-facing technical role)
  • Mobile SDK integrations on iOS and Android
  • REST APIs, webhooks, and API documentation analysis
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • E-commerce platform expertise (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, or Wix)
  • E-commerce workflows (cart, checkout, payment authorization, refunds, shipping)
  • Technical communication to non-technical audiences
  • Enterprise integration and multi-stakeholder project management
