About this role

Sierra seeks a Software Engineer to design and deploy production-grade AI agents for financial services customers, driving mission-critical systems that handle complex insurance and banking workflows. You'll own the full agent development lifecycle, partner directly with enterprise clients, and shape the evolution of Sierra's AI platform.

What you'll do

  • Build and ship production-grade AI agents for insurance claims, underwriting, and customer service use cases
  • Own the complete agent development lifecycle from pilot through deployment and continuous optimization
  • Partner directly with enterprise financial services clients to understand business challenges and translate them into agent solutions
  • Surface unmet platform needs and prototype new tools to inform Sierra's product roadmap
  • Experiment with cutting-edge voice models and AI technologies, integrating them for enterprise-scale deployment
  • Define and establish best practices for the Agent Development Life Cycle across the team
