About this role
SimpliSafe is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to support the design, testing, and documentation of home security products in a collaborative environment. You'll work on prototype development and manufacturing partnerships while learning from senior engineers in a hybrid role based in Boston.
What you'll do
- Support design, testing, and documentation of security-focused electronic products under senior engineer guidance
- Assist with prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, firmware, industrial design, and product management
- Participate in design reviews with suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Execute well-defined engineering tasks from requirements analysis through testing phases
- Help identify risks and prepare technical documentation including requirements and design materials
