About this role
SimpliSafe seeks an Electrical Engineer II to design and develop security products from concept through mass production. You'll work across cross-functional teams on embedded systems, power optimization, and RF technologies while supporting global manufacturing partnerships.
What you'll do
- Lead full lifecycle electrical design of security products including concept, prototyping, testing, and production
- Analyze design tradeoffs between performance, cost, schedule, risk, and complexity with cross-functional teams
- Develop and execute prototype testing strategies to validate product performance and resolve issues
- Contribute to technical requirements documents and system-level design architecture
- Support manufacturing optimization through design reviews with suppliers and global partners
- Stay current with emerging technologies and manufacturing processes to inform product innovation
