About this role
SK hynix America seeks an experienced Process Safety Engineer to develop and implement comprehensive Process Safety Management (PSM) and OSHA compliance systems for a semiconductor manufacturing facility in West Lafayette, IN. The role focuses on building safety standards, risk assessment frameworks, permit-to-work processes, and integrating occupational health programs into a unified safety ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Conduct safety integrity reviews and validate safety systems for operational reliability
- Establish comprehensive standards for equipment, facility fabrication, and risk management
- Lead risk assessment initiatives including damage prediction modeling and corrective action monitoring
- Manage safety permits and licenses lifecycle including document preparation and regulatory coordination
- Develop and maintain PSM reports covering the 14 core PSM elements
- Administer occupational health programs including job fitness evaluations and on-site clinic operations
