About this role
Skyryse seeks a Sensor Integration Engineer to develop, test, and integrate advanced sensors for next-generation aviation safety systems. You'll work with rapid prototyping tools, MATLAB/SIMULINK, and communication protocols to support the SkyOS platform that enhances aircraft control and pilot safety.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute test campaigns using dSpace, Speedgoat, LabView, and similar rapid prototyping equipment
- Model sensors including IMUs and altimeters using MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Execute sensor integration procedures per vendor and stakeholder specifications
- Troubleshoot communication protocols (RS-232, CAN, UDP) and hardware integration issues
- Participate in technical exchange meetings and program milestone reviews
- Generate release drawings and schematics for installed sensor components
