About this role
Skyryse seeks a Systems Test Engineer in El Segundo to support avionics systems integration and testing for their aircraft safety technology. You'll write and execute test procedures, manage lab environments, troubleshoot hardware integration, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure flight-critical systems meet rigorous standards.
What you'll do
- Write, execute, and maintain test procedures and documentation for avionics systems integration
- Support system-level integration activities in the Systems Integration Lab (SIL) environment
- Build, integrate, and troubleshoot harnesses and wiring for lab and aircraft applications
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for test articles and integration assets
- Witness environmental and EMI/EMC supplier testing; review test plans and results
- Document test anomalies, support root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
